What Candidates Must Do Before August 6?
Eligible candidates have to log in with the credentials used during final registration for the entrance examination. The seat allocation link appears on the candidate’s MyPage only for those declared qualified in the result notification.
After logging in, candidates must verify their name, candidate ID and rank, then select AIIMS institutes and arrange them in order of preference. There is no cap on the number of choices, and preferences can be edited or reordered until the window closes.
Locking the choices is the final step. If a candidate does not lock manually, the last saved order is taken as final when the portal shuts.
Supporting Documents Released by AIIMS
Along with the schedule, AIIMS has published a set of counselling documents on its examination portal. These include the help manual on how to fill the online seat allocation form, the information brochure, the FAQ, and the schedule for exercise of choice for online seat allocation for B.Sc. Nursing and B.Sc. Allied & Health Care courses for the August 2026 session.
The information brochure carries the institute-wise and category-wise seat matrix, reservation details and reporting conditions. Candidates should treat this brochure as the final reference rather than seat figures circulating on private websites.

Note: AIIMS has not yet notified the Round 1 result date, the acceptance window or the Round 2 schedule. These will be issued through a separate notice on the examination portal.
Reporting and Document Verification
Candidates allotted a seat must accept it online within the notified window and then report to the allotted AIIMS with the offer letter and seat allocation letter downloaded from the portal.
Original certificates required at reporting include the Class 10 certificate as proof of date of birth, the Class 12 marksheet and passing certificate, the AIIMS admit card, category certificate for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates, PwBD certificate where applicable, and photo identity proof. Self-attested photocopies of each document should also be carried.
Where original certificates cannot be produced at the time of joining, AIIMS allows a demand draft to be deposited as security under conditions specified in the information brochure. Candidates who fail to report within the deadline lose the allotted seat.
What Happened Last Year?
AIIMS BSc Nursing counselling in 2025 concluded in September, with the open round result released on September 22, 2025, and reporting to the allotted institute closing on September 27, 2025. The first two rounds were conducted online, while the open round was held offline. A similar pattern is likely this year, though AIIMS has not confirmed the open round format for 2026.
