State quota seats require a valid NEET UG 2026 score, a Chhattisgarh domicile certificate, and Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. Candidates from other states can apply only for management quota seats in private colleges. Category certificates must be in the Chhattisgarh state format, and PwD claims need a certificate from the State Medical Board under the DME, Nava Raipur.
Fees and Deposit
The application fee is ₹1,000 for UR, EWS and OBC candidates, ₹500 for SC and ST, and ₹10,000 for NRI candidates. The security deposit is ₹10,000 for UR and ₹5,000 for reserved categories in government colleges, and ₹1,00,000 for private medical colleges. BDS-only applicants pay no deposit. The deposit is forfeited if a candidate allotted a medical seat from Round 2 onwards fails to report or leaves the seat. Government MBBS admissions carry a one-year service bond.
What if Candidates Missed Round 1
Candidates who did not apply initially may register afresh at the start of Round 2 or the mop-up round. The DME has not yet announced dates for Round 2, the mop-up round or the stray vacancy round.
Vacant EWS seats are converted to unreserved seats, while other reserved category conversions follow Rule 8 of the state admission rules. For vacant management and NRI quota seats, Chhattisgarh domicile candidates get priority over applicants from other states.
