What is the Rajasthan NEET Seat Matrix?
The seat matrix displays the exact number of seats available for MBBS and BDS admissions across all participating colleges in the state. It breaks down seat availability by college, category (government, management, NRI), and course. The matrix is essential for candidates to prepare their college preference list before choice filling.
The state conducts counselling for 85% of state quota seats in government colleges and all seats in private institutions. The remaining 15% All India Quota seats are filled separately by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

Eligibility Criteria for Round 1
- Educational qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English with a minimum 50% aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC categories).
- Age limit: Minimum 17 years as of December 31, 2009. No upper age limit applies.
- Domicile requirement: Rajasthan domicile is mandatory for 85% government quota seats. Eligibility includes natural residents (5 years in Rajasthan schools), government employees’ wards, defence personnel families, and other specified categories.
- NEET qualification: Only candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026 with the required percentile (50th for General/EWS, 40th for SC/ST/OBC) are eligible.

Security Deposit Amounts
Before choice filling, candidates must deposit refundable security amounts:
- Government seats (MBBS): Rs. 50,000
- Management seats (MBBS): Rs. 2,00,000
- NRI seats (MBBS): Rs. 5,00,000
- Private medical colleges (MBBS): Rs. 5,00,000
- Dental colleges: Rs. 10,000

Important Instructions for Candidates
Candidates must carefully review the seat matrix and fee structure before filling choices. Once choices are locked, they cannot be modified. Fresh choice filling is mandatory for each subsequent round. Missing the deadline for any round means ineligibility for that round’s allotment.
Candidates should preserve all relevant documents, including the NEET scorecard, 10+2 marksheet, domicile certificate (if applicable), and category certificate. Non-joining to an allotted seat in Round 2 or later rounds results in forfeiture of the security deposit.
