What the Merit List Covers
The provisional list ranks candidates who registered for Gujarat’s state medical and dental counselling based on their NEET UG 2026 score, All India rank and category. ACPUGMEC has published it in separate PDFs for the General, SC, ST, SEBC and EWS categories, along with local quota lists for NHL Medical College and Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College. A list of candidates found not eligible, with the specific reason for rejection against each name, has also been uploaded so that affected candidates know what to correct.
Merit lists for candidates who applied under the PwD and NRI quotas have not been released. ACPUGMEC has stated that verification for these categories is still in progress and that their lists will follow separately.
Correction window open until today
Candidates who spot an error in their rank, category or documents can get it corrected only through the help centre where their original document verification took place. The window runs from August 17 to August 19, between 10 am and 4 pm each day, and today is the final day. The process is offline: candidates must visit the centre in person with the prescribed correction form and supporting documents, since online submissions are not being accepted this year.
As part of the same process, ACPUGMEC convened a Medical Appeal Board for PwD candidates on August 18, from 9 am to 10 am, at B.J. Medical College, Civil Hospital Campus, Ahmedabad, to review disability assessments flagged during verification.
Eligibility Marks Applied for the 2026-27 List
The merit list has been prepared using the minimum qualifying NEET UG 2026 marks notified for Gujarat’s MBBS and BDS admissions:
- Open and EWS category: 213 marks
- PwD candidates under Open and EWS: 194 marks
- SC, ST and SEBC categories: 177 marks
What happens next
Once the correction window closes today, ACPUGMEC is expected to publish a revised or final merit list before opening choice filling for Round 1. Dates for choice filling, choice locking and the Round 1 seat allotment result have not yet been announced. Candidates are advised to keep checking medadmgujarat.org regularly, since the counselling calendar for subsequent steps is released only after corrections are processed.
