MBBS Seat Availability by Category

Of the 3,770 vacant MBBS seats, government medical colleges account for 656 seats across 33 institutions. Management quota adds 139 seats through RUHS CMS and RAJMES colleges, while 349 seats are set aside for NRI candidates.

Private medical colleges contribute the largest share, with 2,197 general seats across 18 colleges and 429 management seats. Seats are further divided by reservation category, covering Unreserved, EWS, MBC, OBC, SC and ST candidates, with separate boy and girl allocations. PwBD seats are included within these totals, and a separate PwBD matrix has also been published.

BDS Seat Availability by Category

The BDS matrix shows 804 vacant seats. Government dental colleges hold 32 seats across 2 institutions. Private colleges account for the rest, with 670 general seats across 16 colleges and 102 management seats across 11 colleges.

Who Can Register for Round 2

Two sets of candidates can participate in Round 2. Fresh candidates who did not register in Round 1 can register now for the first time. Candidates already allotted a seat in Round 1 can also register again to upgrade, but they must fill fresh choices, since Round 1 preferences do not carry forward automatically.

Candidates who hold a Round 1 seat and skip Round 2 choice filling risk losing their earlier allotment under the counselling rules, so those wanting to retain their current seat should check the official notification before deciding.

Registration Fee and Security Deposit

The registration fee is ₹2,500 for General, EWS and non-domicile candidates, and ₹1,500 for SC, ST and ST-STA candidates from Rajasthan, plus applicable transaction charges. The fee is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted against any future state UG admission.

Before choice filling, candidates must pay a security deposit based on the seat type they want to choose. Government MBBS seats require ₹50,000, management seats in government society colleges require ₹2,00,000, and NRI seats in government society colleges require ₹5,00,000. Private medical colleges also require ₹5,00,000, while BDS seats, government or private, require ₹10,000. Candidates who deposit ₹2,00,000 or ₹5,00,000 become eligible to also fill choices for government college seats.
