Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal, opened online registration for MBBS and BDS admissions under the Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2026-27 at 6 am on Wednesday, August 5. NEET UG 2026-qualified candidates from Telangana must register and upload scanned original certificates at https://tsmedadm.tsche.in before 6 pm on August 12, 2026. The university issued the notification on August 4 along with the admission prospectus, both signed by the Registrar.

Which Seats Are Covered

The notification applies to Competent Authority Quota seats only. This includes seats in Government Medical and Dental Colleges after deducting the 15 per cent contributed to the All India Quota, plus Category ‘A’ seats in private un-aided non-minority and minority medical colleges and private un-aided non-minority dental colleges, including the Army College of Dental Sciences, Secunderabad.

The current exercise is limited to determining the State Merit position. KNRUHS has clarified that the schedule for exercising web options will be announced separately on the university website.

Fee Details

The registration and processing fee is Rs 4,000 for OC and BC candidates and Rs 3,200 for SC and ST candidates, with bank charges extra. Payment is accepted online through debit card, credit card or net banking, and is not refundable or adjustable under any circumstances.

A university fee of Rs 12,000 is payable online after allotment, before the allotment order can be downloaded. Selected candidates must also submit a discontinuation bond of Rs 20 lakh on non-judicial stamp paper, along with a genuineness affidavit and an anti-drug undertaking. Tuition fee for 2026-27 will be fixed by orders to be issued by the Government of Telangana.

Note: Candidates who face a failed transaction followed by a successful one should email knruhs.doublepayments@gmail.com. Refunds of duplicate payments will be processed only after the closure of admissions.

Documents to Upload

Twenty items are listed in the notification. Mandatory uploads are the NEET UG 2026 score card, SSC or 10th class marks memo as birth proof, Intermediate marks memo, study certificates for classes 9 and 10, study certificates for both Intermediate years, transfer certificate, Aadhaar card, passport-size photograph and specimen signature.

Certificates must be in PDF format under 500 KB, while the photograph and signature must be JPG or JPEG under 100 KB. Grade certificates are not accepted in place of the qualifying examination marks memo.

Conditional documents include the community certificate, minority certificate for Muslim candidates seeking minority college seats, EWS income and asset certificate for 2026-27 issued by a Tahsildar on or after April 1, 2026, and certificates for NCC, CAP, PMC, SCCL, Anglo Indian and residence claims.

Only community certificates issued online by the Mandal Revenue Officer or competent authority of the Telangana government will be accepted. An OBC certificate will not be considered for state quota reservation.
