How To Check Bihar UGMAC 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result
Candidates can download their Round 1 allotment order from the official BCECEB website by following these steps.
- Visit bceceboard.bihar.gov.in and open the UGMAC-2026 counselling link.
- Log in with the UGMAC application number and the password created at registration, or with the date of birth as prompted.
- Open the seat allotment section to view the Round 1 result.
- Download and print the allotment letter for use during document verification.
Candidates who do not receive a seat in Round 1 remain in contention for Round 2, provided they do not withdraw from the counselling process.

What Happens After Seat Allotment
Those confirming their seat must report at the allotted college between August 24 and August 27 with original documents and self-attested photocopies, along with the prescribed fee. Required documents include the UGMAC rank card, NEET UG 2026 admit card and scorecard, class 10 and 12 certificates and mark sheets, residential and caste or EWS certificate where applicable, Aadhaar card, six passport-size photographs, and the online application confirmation page. Candidates claiming reservation under the divyang quota must upload a certificate issued only by an authorised centre, as specified in the counselling notice.
Bihar UGMAC 2026 Seat Matrix
According to the seat matrix published by BCECEB, government medical colleges are offering 1,710 MBBS seats across 12 institutions, led by Patna Medical College with 250 seats, followed by Nalanda Medical College Patna with 200 seats. Private medical colleges account for a further 2,450 MBBS seats spread across 14 institutions.
For BDS, Patna Dental College holds 40 government seats, while three private dental colleges, including Buddha Institute of Dental Sciences in Patna, together offer 200 seats. The counselling also covers 56 government and 8 self-financed BVSc & AH seats, and 42 government and 8 self-financed BFSc seats at Bihar’s veterinary and fisheries institutions.

Fee Structure
The counselling fee is ₹1,200 for general, EWS, BC, and EBC candidates seeking government seats, and ₹600 for SC, ST, and divyang candidates; the fee for private college options is ₹1,200 across all categories.
Security deposits are ₹10,000 for general and EWS candidates and ₹5,000 for SC, ST, BC and EBC candidates opting for government medical, dental, veterinary or fisheries seats. For private medical colleges, the security deposit is ₹2,00,000, and for private dental colleges it is ₹50,000. All fees and deposits must be paid online, and BCECEB has advised candidates not to wait until the last date, citing potential disruptions to internet or banking services.
