Note: Candidates who do not report within the August 21-27 window risk losing their allotted seat, based on the schedule published by the DME.

  1. Visit the official portal, cgdme.admissions.nic.in.
  2. Open the “What’s New” or notices section on the homepage.
  3. Click on “CHHATTISGARH STATE NEET-UG (MBBS & BDS)-2026 MERIT LIST-ROUND 1.”
  4. Download the PDF and locate your roll number or application number using the search function.
  5. Save or print the list for reference during document verification.

Fee Structure

Candidates paid a counselling registration fee during the application window: ₹1,000 for UR, EWS and OBC candidates, ₹500 for SC and ST candidates, and ₹10,000 for NRI candidates. A security deposit is also payable on seat acceptance: ₹10,000 for UR candidates and ₹5,000 for reserved category candidates in government colleges, and ₹1,00,000 for private medical colleges. Candidates seeking BDS seats only are exempt from the security deposit requirement.

Candidates should track the seat allotment result on August 20 using their login credentials on the counselling portal. Those allotted a seat must report to the respective institute between August 21 and August 27, carrying their NEET UG scorecard, class 10 and 12 mark sheets, domicile certificate, category certificate where applicable, passport-size photographs, and the allotment letter for document verification. Candidates who remain unallotted or wish to try for a better seat can wait for the round 2 schedule, which the DME is expected to announce after round 1 admissions close.
