Merit List Finalised Before Choice Filling
ACPUGMEC released the provisional Round 1 merit list on August 16, 2026, at 9:15 AM. Candidates could submit corrections between August 17 and August 19, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day.
A revised provisional merit list followed on August 20, 2026, at 4:50 PM. ACPUGMEC published a further revised provisional merit list on August 23, 2026, at 1:50 PM, covering General, SC, ST, SEBC, EWS, PwD and NRI categories. Choice filling opened using this list.
For PwD applicants contesting their disability category, ACPUGMEC held an appeal board assessment on August 18, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Dean’s office, B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad.
How to Fill Choices
Candidates who registered for Gujarat NEET UG 2026 counselling and hold a valid PIN can log in at medadmgujarat.org to fill their choices. The portal lets candidates arrange government and private medical and dental colleges in order of preference before locking their selections.
ACPUGMEC has published a choice filling guideline document along with tentative seat matrices for both medical and dental courses. Candidates should check these seat matrices before ranking their college preferences, since seat numbers remain provisional until the final matrix is confirmed.
Only candidates named in the revised provisional merit list are eligible to participate in Round 1 choice filling. Candidates should verify their category, rank and eligibility status on the portal before submitting choices.
What Happens After August 27
Once choice filling closes at 1:00 PM on August 27, ACPUGMEC will process Round 1 seat allotment through computerised, merit-based counselling. The result date for Round 1 seat allotment has not been announced yet.
Candidates allotted a seat will need to complete document verification and reporting at the allotted college within the schedule ACPUGMEC issues separately. Those who do not get a seat in Round 1, or wish to upgrade their preference, can participate in subsequent rounds of the four-round counselling process.
