What the Round 1 Seat Matrix Contains
The file is a line-by-line listing rather than a summary table. Each row carries eight fields: State Name, Institute Type, Institute, Quota, Branch, Category, Total Seats and Seat Gender.
This means a single college appears across several rows, with one row for each category and quota combination. Candidates must add the rows for a college to arrive at its total intake for a course.
Quota Categories in MCC Round 1 Seat Matrix PDF
Government colleges show seats under the “All India” quota. AIIMS institutions use “Open Seat Quota”. Deemed universities are split between “Non-Resident Indian” and “Self-Financed Merit Seat” entries; GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences, Visakhapatnam, for instance, shows 23 NRI seats and 127 self-financed merit seats.
Delhi institutions carry additional quotas, including IP University Quota and the Delhi NCR Children/Widows of Personnel of the Armed Forces (CW) quota. ESIC colleges list seats separately under the All India quota and the Employees State Insurance Scheme quota.
Category and Gender Columns
Seats are marked as OP (Open), BC, SC, ST and EW. A separate column marks each row as either NO or PH, with PH rows indicating seats earmarked for candidates with benchmark disabilities within that category.
The Seat Gender column reads “Both” for most institutions. Women-only entries appear for institutions such as SVIMS Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women, Tirupati, and several nursing colleges in Delhi.

Reset Registration Window Still Open
Candidates who entered incorrect information or selected a wrong option during registration can correct their details using the unlock/reset registration facility until 11 AM on August 12, 2026. MCC activated the option through a notice dated August 7, 2026.
This deadline falls four hours before the Round 1 registration window itself closes at 3 PM on the same day.
