How the Merit List Was Finalised
BFUHS first published the round 1 provisional merit list, along with Sikh minority, Christian minority and NRI lists, on August 13. After reviewing these, the university issued the revised combined list on August 15, which candidates must now use for choice filling.

Seats and Fee
BFUHS has separately published a seat matrix listing MBBS and BDS seats across government, private and minority institutions; candidates can check college- and category-wise availability on the same portal before filling choices.
As per the counselling notice, the registration fee was ₹5,900 for general/other category candidates and ₹2,950 for SC candidates, inclusive of GST. Admission follows the notification issued by Punjab’s Department of Medical Education and Research on July 10, 2026, under the 85 percent state quota and 15 percent All India Quota pattern, with the AIQ share filled separately by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
