What It Contains and How to Check It

The provisional merit list carries each candidate’s registration ID, NEET ID, name, father’s name, domicile status, category considered for ranking, NEET percentile, All India Rank and the combined Rajasthan state merit rank. Candidates can open the list on the official website and use the browser’s find function to locate their registration ID. The board has advised candidates to save a copy of the list for reference during choice filling and reporting.

The merit list released on August 18 is provisional and subject to change once certificate verification for reserved categories is completed. Candidates should treat the August 20 revised list as the version that determines their standing for round 1 seat allotment.

Verification for Defence, Para-Military and NRI Candidates

Candidates listed under the Ward of Defence Personnel and Ward of Para-Military Personnel categories, along with NRI category applicants, are required to appear in person before the counselling board at SMS Medical College, Jaipur, on August 19 between 9 am and 5 pm. They must carry original documents supporting their category claim, as specified in the notifications published alongside the merit list. Candidates who do not appear for verification or whose documents are found insufficient risk losing category-based consideration in the revised merit list.

What Happens After the Merit List

Candidates whose names appear in the merit list can proceed to deposit the security amount and fill their college and course choices. The security deposit and choice filling window, open since August 14, closes on August 20 at 6 pm and 11:55 pm, respectively. Deposit amounts vary by seat type: ₹50,000 for government seats in government medical colleges, government society colleges, RUHS-CMS and ESIC medical colleges; ₹2,00,000 for management seats in government society colleges and RUHS-CMS; ₹5,00,000 for NRI seats and for MBBS admission in private medical colleges; and ₹10,000 for BDS admission in the government dental college, RUHS-CDS and private dental colleges.
