The Government of Tripura’s Directorate of Medical Education has released the official notification for Tripura Undergraduate Medical Counselling 2026 Round 1, opening online registration on August 18, 2026. The counselling process will admit NEET UG 2026-qualified candidates to MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, and BASLP courses for the 2026-27 academic session. All activities will be conducted exclusively through the Tripura Medical Counselling Committee (TRMCC) portal at https://trmcc.admissions.nic.in.

Registration Fees and Security Deposit

Non-Refundable Registration Fees:

  • General/OBC-NCL (State Domicile): ₹2,500
  • General-EWS/OBC-NCL (Non-Domicile): ₹2,000
  • SC/ST/PwD/Other: ₹1,800

Mandatory Security Deposit (Round 1 onwards):

  • Government seats: ₹5,000 (SC/ST), ₹10,000 (others)
  • Non-government seats: ₹1,00,000 (all categories)

Both fees must be paid online via banking/RTGS/NEFT/UPI during registration.

Required Documents

Candidates must upload: age proof, eligibility supporting documents, EWS certificate (financial year April 2025–March 2026), WESM certificate, SC/ST/OBC-NCL certificate, disability certificate (online format only), H.S. (+2) mark sheet, NEET 2026 score card, and NEET 2026 admit card. All documents must be authentic; admission is subject to verification during physical reporting.

Counselling Process

Step 1: Online registration and fee payment at trmcc.admissions.nic.in

Step 2: Document verification and merit list publication by DME

Step 3: Online choice filling for verified candidates

Step 4: Seat allotment and nomination letter issuance

Step 5: College reporting with document verification and admission completion

Seats not availed in Rounds 1, 2, or 3 are carried forward to subsequent rounds with fresh registration.

Important Conditions and Restrictions

  • Single Registration: Candidates can submit the registration and application form only once; multiple registrations with different categories are rejected.
  • No Document Changes Post-Registration: Once submitted, the Tripura Medical Counselling Committee will not entertain any requests for information changes. All information must be correct during online submission.
  • PwD Subcategory Declaration: Candidates holding both PwD and WESM certificates can select only one subcategory during state counselling; switching from PwD to WESM after MCC registration is not permitted.
  • Mandatory Columns: Candidates must complete all mandatory columns in the online application form. Submission of incorrect information may lead to seat allotment cancellation during document verification or at any point during admission.
  • No Offline Communication: All updates, notices, schedules, and seat allotment information will be published exclusively on the TRMCC website. Candidates are advised to visit the portal regularly and monitor official notifications. No direct communication will be sent to individual candidates.
  • Service Bond and Discontinuation Bond: Relevant service bonds and discontinuation bonds apply to admitted candidates per their course and institution, to be executed during nomination/admission.
