Eligibility Criteria for Uttarakhand NEET UG 2026 Counselling

Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology from a recognised institution.

NEET Qualification: Must have qualified NEET UG 2026 as per eligibility criteria.

Domicile Requirement (85% State Quota): For the 85% state quota seats in government and private medical/dental colleges, candidates must fulfil one of the following:

  • Hold a valid Uttarakhand domicile certificate
  • Have passed Class 10 and Class 12 from recognised institutions in Uttarakhand
  • Be permanent residents of Uttarakhand

Non-Domicile Candidates: Candidates from other states are eligible for management quota seats only in private medical and dental colleges, not for state quota seats in government institutions.

Registration Fee & Security Deposit

All candidates must pay an online registration fee and a mandatory security deposit via credit/debit card or net banking. The security amount varies based on domicile status and reserved/unreserved category.
